Rev. Dr. Martha Boyer, Pastor
Rev. Dr. Martha Boyer was ordained at Salem United Church of Christ in Harrisburg, PA. She served in West Berlin, Germany as an Associate Missionary of the United Church Board for World Ministries. After returning to the United States, Rev. Boyer was called to serve various churches in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Rev. Boyer is married to David Boyer and they have a son, Andrew. In August 2024 she published a self-help book of memoirs: “My Quest for Shalom: Finding Peace in Mental Health“.
Rev. Boyer and her husband live in York, PA. She enjoys swimming, hiking, kayaking, music, and traveling. Rev. Boyer received her education at Carnegie-Mellon University (Pittsburgh), Union Theological Seminary (NYC), Seminario Biblico Latinoamericano (Costa Rica) and Lancaster Theological Seminary. In May 2023, Rev. Boyer received the J. Meck Award for Pastor Excellence from Lancaster Theological Seminary.
Sarah Rinker is the Secretary for St. Paul’s Dubs Union Church. She is a native of Hanover, PA and a McDaniel College graduate. In her free time, Sarah enjoys gardening, spending time with her dogs, and crafting jewelry, hair accessories, and dog bandanas for her business at Hanover Market House.
“Cindy” began taking piano lessons when she was 10 years old. She also plays a variety of other instruments, including the saxophone, harmonica, flute, and banjo. Her first debut was as a child, when her mother told her, “you’re going up there to play.” The rest is history. She’s been playing piano and organ for local congregations since she was 16 years old. Cindy is a graduate of Messiah College with a B.A. in Bible Studies and a minor in Music. Her favorite artist is the Polish composer, Frederic Chopin.
Gary is a highly talented singer and choir director. During his service in the United States Air Force, Gary sang in choirs, directed choirs, and played organ. He served in the USA, Germany, and Pakistan. For 25 years, he was the choir director of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Littlestown, PA. Later, he directed the choir at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Littlestown, PA. And now, we are blessed by his services as Choir Director at St. Paul’s Dubs Union Church.
